Borrowing ToolBank tools is simple! Click the button below and complete the online membership application. Nonprofit organizations, public schools, neighborhood associations, faith-based groups, government agencies, and civic organizations are invited to join the ToolBank. Please be prepared to provide proof of your organization's charitable mission to ToolBank staff. ToolBank tools are not available to individuals.
You will create a user account in the membership application process - be sure to write down your password! You will use it to submit a tool order and to manage your ToolBank account.
Once your application is approved, you can submit a tool order at any time by clicking the 'Order Tools' button. It's fast and easy, and ToolBank staff will contact you as soon as possible to confirm your order and your pickup appointment. ALL visitation to the ToolBank is by appointment only. Appointments are available Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm and must be scheduled in advance in order to ensure the most efficient experience possible. So please place your tool orders at least 48 hours prior to your desired pick up time.
